The best way to view a coastal city is on the water. Harbour tours, archaeological tours, Kaien Island circle tours through Butze Rapids, and historical tours of the lower Skeena River are all great options for those looking to get out on the water and still learn a little about the Prince Rupert area. For those who just want to get away, trips can also be arranged to some of the outlying islands (possibly for a beach barbecue) or to area hot springs. Trips last between 1.5 to 6 hours. Take a guided bus tour and learn about the fishing industry, both past and present. You will also visit other attractions along the way. Trips last approximately 2 hours. |
